| Mr. Jones had just been informed by his boss that he had to eliminate one of the two members of his subdivision. He had never fired anyone, but was willing to face up to his responsibility and was trying to decide whether it would be Delilah or Jack who got the axe. So Mr. Jones called Delilah into his office, and as luck would have it, the boss was passing by. So the boss decided to wait to see what happened. Just moments later, Delilah came bursting out of the office, grabbed her purse and exited the building. "I see you decided to fire Delilah," The boss said. But Jones just shook his head and said, "I never got that far." "What do you mean?" "Well," Jones said, "all I said was, 'Delilah, I don't know whether to lay you or Jack off,' and that's when she stormed out." |
